This fascinating journey commences in Cairo, sails down to Luxor and eventually to Aswan and offers guests the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the Pharaohs.
You will sail the "Long cruise" on the excellent "Jaz Royale" one of the most well-appointed boats on the Nile which provides a high standard of comfort and service to give a truly memorable cruise experience. Travel in style and enjoy the host of onboard amenities including a swimming pool, games room and spacious sun deck.
The 72 spacious and contemporary designed cabins measure 22 square metres and all have a large panoramic window. All of the stylish furnished cabins offer high levels of comfort with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, satellite LCD TV plus an individual safe and mini-bar.
The main restaurant offers sumptous buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner with variety of international and local cuisine whilst the elegant lounge bar is the perfect place to relax in the evening and watch the nightly entertainment.

Day 1: Cairo: Fly direct to Cairo. You will be met on arrival and taken to your Nile cruise boat. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 2: Cairo & The Great Pyramids: Full day tour with visits to the Egyptian Museum and the Great Pyramids & Sphinx in Giza Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Full day cruising: All day sailing to Beni Suef.
Day 4: Fayoum: Visits to the Pyramids of Maydom and Hawara. Overnight Beni Suef.
Day 5: Full day cruising: Full day cruising to Minya.
Day 6: Beni Hassan: At Beni Hassan lies 39 tombs of military figures and rulers carved into limestone hills dating back to the 11th & 12th Dynasty. After lunch visits to the tombs of Tuna el Gebel, the temple of Thoth and the sanctuary of Amun. Overnight in Miny.
Day 7: Tel El Amarna: Sail to Tel Armana. After lunch explore the temple ruins and tombs of the Rebel pharaoh Akenaten who built his capital here for himself and his famous queen, Nefertiti. Sail to Assiut. Overnight in Assiut.
Day 8: Sohag: Breakfast. Pass the lock of Assiut & sail to Sohag. Sail to El Balyana and overnight.
Day 9: Abydos : Early morning visit to Abydos Temple a unique L shaped temple which served seven gods of Ancient Egypt. Rejoin the boat at Naga Hamadi. Sail to Qena and overnight.
Day 10: Denderah : At Denderah visit the splendid temple of Hathor the goddess of love, music and fertility. Sail to Luxor and overnight.
Day 11: Luxor: Full day visit to the West Bank - Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple & the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight Luxor.
Day 12: Luxor Temples: Morning visit to the the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. Boat sails to Edfu that evening.
Day 13: Edfu & Kom Ombo: At Edfu there is a morning visit to the temple dedicated to the god Horus and one of the largest and best preserved Ptolemaic temples in Egypt. Sail to Kom Ombo for late afternoon visit to the twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Aswan for overnight stay.
Day 14: Aswan: Morning visits to High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae temple. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 15: Abu Simbel & Disembark: Opportunity to take an optional excursion to the breathtaking temples of Abu Simbel either by coach (approx £85) or by air (£195). Disembarkation and transfer to the airport.
