  1. I’ve been asked for a password but I haven’t created one neither have I been given one. Could you please explain, because I cannot open the page.

    I doubt it will ever arrive, after all these links and mini forms.

  3. Peter, I am sorry that your experience was “dreadful”. If you need help in downloading the Guide we would be glad to help. The only way we can offer the Guide is via this system. It’s called a “double opt-in” system. It works like this:

    You request a copy of the Free Nile Cruise Guide via the form on our website. Our software then sends you an email to request that you confrim that you actually did request the Guide. This is to ensure that someone else did not fill in the form with your details.

    When you reply to that email our software sends out the second and final email with a link to the page where you can download the Guide, with the PASSWORD that you will need to be able to download it.

    This is the “industry standard” way of being able to offer a downloadable product. At the same time the process ensures that you do not receive any unwanted emails from us or any other party and that you are actually receiving something that you asked for personally.

    We have not found any other secure way of delivery but if you can suggest one then we will be pleased to explore it.

    I’m sorry you found the the process a “dreadful” and “dawful” experience. We have had many thousands of downloads to date and only 3 people have had a problem so far, all 3 of which were sorted out within minutes when we explained what needed to be done.

    The Nile Cruise Guide is offered in good faith by ourselves. It is not a sales pitch but hopefully it provides some answers to the most popular questions about Nile Cruising.

    I am sorry we have not been able to meet your expectations on this occasion.
