About Us

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

  1. Thanks for an excellent website

Are you aware of any deck plans for Viking Princess ? Have seen one Tripadvsor comment to the effect that it doesn’t matter which deck you choose, because ships moor alongside each other and so views restricted wherever you are. However, are more concerned about not being near engines, noisy machinery, etc. Any suggestions greatefully received !

  2. Hi Michael,

From my own personal experience of the Viking Princess I would recommend the middle deck.

The cabins on each of the three decks are identical (and excellent) but the lower deck cabins have portholes instead of windows. The middle and upper deck cabins have windows.

I choose the middle deck as I am then only one deck up to the sun deck and one deck down to reception. I think you’ll find that none of the cabins suffer from undue noise from either machinery or engines and we can certainly request that our clients are allocated quiet cabins near the front of the ship if possible.

I hope that helps but please do not hesitate to let me know if there any further questions I can help you with.

    Kind regards,

    Colin
