sensational collection of antiques and treasures including
mummies, sarcophagi and precious items that once belonged to
Tutankhamen.
As
this incredible tour unfolds, you’ll fly to Aswan and board the impressive
5: Beau Soleil for an unforgettable cruise along the Nile to
the Egyptian city of Luxor.

recorded time, you’ll pass palm-covered banks and dramatic
local wildlife before witnessing Lake Nasser, the
Temple of
Philae and the
ancient beauty of the Valley of

Itinerary
Day
1 Join the direct flight to
Cairo
. Upon arrival we will
transfer you to your 5: hotel for a two-night stay.
Day
2 After a buffet breakfast at the hotel we include a
fabulous full-day guided tour, with lunch and all entrance
fees. We will take you first to see the unique and fascinating
Sphinx and Great Pyramids of Giza.
Few
archaeological sites can rival our second destination today,
the fascinating 4-mile burial site at
Saqqara, with a history that spans
almost 3,000 years. The highlight is the astonishing
six-tiered Step Pyramid of King Djoser.
Day
3 After breakfast we transfer to the airport for the
short flight to Aswan,
described by many as the most beautiful of Egypt ’s river
cities. After a spot of sight-seeing in the city we will board
the5 star Beau Soleil for the start of our memorable
three-night Nile cruise.
Days 4
& 5 These days will be spent cruising the
Nile , passing local
villages, fishermen and indigenous wildlife. Sight-seeing
highlights include the High Dam which holds back the waters of
the largest reservoir in the world; Lake
Nasser. At the nearby
granite quarries, we will see The Unfinished Obelisk, left in
situ because of a flaw in the stone. Also included are visits
to the Temple of
Philae, dedicated to
the Goddess Isis, the Temple of Kom-Ombo and the Ptolemaic Temple of
Edfu, renowned as the best preserved in Egypt.
Day
6 This morning we arrive at
Luxor, originally the site of the ancient
Egyptian capital of
Thebes
which offers the
country’s richest collection of ruins and monuments. After
disembarkation, you will enjoy a visit to the impressive
Luxor
Temple, as well as
Karnak
Temple
, possibly the
most extravagant monument and legacy of the pharaohs.
Also included is a trip to the fabulous Valley of the
Kings, the most famous
necropolis on earth, where the tomb of Tutankhamen was
discovered in 1922.
Later this evening, we will transfer to
Luxor airport for the flight back to
Cairo
and a further two-night
stay.
Day 7
Today we include a fascinating full-day tour of
Cairo, with lunch included,
taking you to visit the world-famous Egyptian
Museum.
Then it’s on to the impressive Citadel, located at the foot of
the Mokattam Hills and dominating the city-scape of Cairo.
Day
8 Today we must bid farewell to our hosts and
transfer to the airport in time for the return flight to the
UK.

explore fantastic on-shore excursions, so rest assured your
holiday will be one to remember.

there is a large lobby, dining room and bar, where you can
enjoy nightly entertainment including belly dancing and an
