Birds Of Egypt

When you book a Nile Cruise you tend to think of the various fascinating excursions you’ll enjoy to magical places like The Valley Of The Kings, Karnak Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk, etc.  But what so many people dont’ realise is that you will have opportunities to see wonderful wildlife when your there.

Egypt is important as a place where familiar European birds rub shoulders with exotic African species and offers some of the most exciting birdwatching anywhere in the world and is an increasingly popular destination for birdwatchers.

One of our recent clients sent me a whole CD-ROM of great photographs he’d taken of the wildlife he’d seen when cruising.

If your interested you can get various books to take with you including the one featured here, “Birds Of Egypt” which only costs £5.99 from Amazon.co.uk.

I ‘m not a birdwatcher normally but when I travel I love to see as much of the wildlife as possible.  When I travelled to Kenya last year I brought back reel after reel of video footage.  But equally when I travelled to the north of Holland a few years ago I took a “bird-watching” excursion out of curiosity and had a brilliant time and, again, took loads of great pictures.

Anyway, I just thought I’d let you know that you will have some opportunities to enjoy sights of wildlife and birdlife that you wont’ be able to see anywhere else.
