Nile Cruise and Ancient Egypt Book

Ramses IINile Cruise and Ancient Egypt Book.

A number of people have contacted me to say that they opened our email newsletter alert regarding yesterday’s free Ancient Egypt booklet given away in the Guardian too late to do anything about it or else they read my last blog post too late to manage to buy a copy.

If you are one of those people who has just read about it and would like to get hold of a copy then there is a way.

The Ancient Egypt booklet it part of a series of seven all to do with ancient civilisations.  The remaining books will be on Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece, etc.  In the back of the Ancient Egypt book it says that you can buy a copy of the Egypt book for just £2.99 while stocks last by logging on to Guardian.co.uk/reaaderoffers/ancientworld

I think it would be £2.99 well spent to be honest as it will certainly give you a great background to all you will see on a Nile Cruise.  When you visit sites like The Valley of the Kings or Luxor Temple, etc, you will have a real head start when your Egyptologist starts to explain concepts like the “afterlife” or how to read “hieroglyphs“.  Or talks about the god “Horus” or “Queen Hatshepsut“.  It will be good to already have a good overview and I’m certain it would make your Nile cruise even more enjoyable and rewarding.
