The case for the “Best value Nile Cruise” rather than the “Cheapest Nile Cruise”…

Royal Viking Nile CruiseIf there is any one Nile Cruise ship that we are selling that is excellent value then it has to the Royal Viking.  We currently have great deals for departures in June, July and early August and in comparison to some other Nile Cruise ship prices it is truly excellent value.

The ship itself is excellently finished and you will cruise in real comfort in well-appointed cabins with balconies.

Often, as with all travel and holiday prices, people look for what they call “the cheapest” price.  Sadly, I think with a product like a Nile Cruise, they are missing the point.  I think they should be looking for the “best value”.

Of course budget dictates so much but if you are going to fly for 5 hours to Egypt and then spend a week on a Nile Cruise ship enjoying the wonders of Ancient Egypt, wouldnt’ you want that ship to be the best you can afford, not the cheapest available.

Sure you might save £40 or £50 per person but I’m certain that when that other ship passes by, the one that was £50 more but looks fabulous and its’ passengers look happily down from their sunbeds, those who have booked purely on price, often look up and think “I wish I had paid that little bit extra and was onboard that one”.

The Royal Viking is one of those ships where you might pay a little bit more but I believe that it would be well worth the price.

“Hello Barbara,

Just to let you know we had an excellent time on our cruise on the Royal Viking.  We sailed from Luxor to Aswan over a week.

The boat was better than my expectations, beautifully presented, very clean and comfortable.  The food was excellent, the views down the Nile from the cabins when we sailed were very special.

The trips were extremely well organised with comfortable, air-conditioned coaches with toilets.

Our Egyptologist, Moshen, was again excellent, very informative and with a good sense of humour.

We had never been on a cruise before, didnt’ think it would be our bag, but we are converted.

Many thanks for your recommendation.
