The New York Museum have a wonderful archive of old black and white photographs of Egypt which you can download and use as they are copywrite free.

There are lots of photos of Egypt that look like they were taken in the 20’s and 30’s and are a very interesting look at what Egypt must have looked like.
If you like this photograph there are lots more which you can use on your own website or print them onto postcards to sned to friends from Egypt!! Make ’em think that it still looks like this.
There are loads of photographs of other places too but I thought that these old Egypt photographs had a nice feel.
